I officially made it to Brazil and it's amazing!     Today I was reading from the Book of Mormon and stumbled across a scripture that I wanted to share. In 1 Nephi 8: 33 it says, "And great was the multitude that did enter into that strange building. And after they did enter into that building they did point the finger of scorn at me and those that were partaking of the fruit also; but we heeded them not."     I love this scripture because of the last phrase: we headed them not. In our world today there is so much pride and so much confusion, and it can be hard to stay focused and driven especially as a missionary. If we follow this simple yet difficult advise and heed not the adversary, I know that our efforts won't be in vain and we will see the blessings.     I challenge anyone reading this to find some distractions or any sort of adversity in your life and heed it not! I promise you'll see a great change!

  Hello everyone! I've been a missionary for 4 days now and I absolutely love this work! I have never felt so much peace and joy! Today in our online MTC class, our teach extended an invitation to all of us to post our testimony, so here goes nothing!     Throughout my entire MTC experience, one phrase continues to come to my mind which comes from 2 Nephi 25: 20: "there is none other name given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ, of which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved." Jesus Christ is the one and only way that we can fulfill God's plan and be saved! As we exercise faith in Him, follow His perfect example, and use His Atonement, we can feel a strong sense of purpose and happiness in this life. If anyone is struggling to feel the Light of Christ in their lives, or just wants to hear a message about Jesus Christ please reach out to me, I would love to talk!     Olá pessoal!
