Good morning! I'm back. 6 months and 1 week here on the mission. We're in the thick of carnaval. Still trekking through the jungle everyday. Let's get right into it... SPIRITUAL THOUGHT These week was super tough! We're currently in the thick of carnaval, so everyone's at the beach, leaving my area a ghost town. It also seemed like everyone we talked to had absolutely zero interest in our message.  But these last two days, something changed. Good morning everyone! I literally have no time to write this email this week, because we're playing soccer at 6:30am today. But don't worry, I woke up an hour early for y'all.  To sum up this week perfectly, it was probably the hardest that I've worked in my life, and I saw the least amount of results. But that's the life of a missionary. Let's get right into it. SPIRITUAL THOUGHT We brought along a friend from church one day to help us teach a couple lessons. We had a few pretty quality lessons and I saw his testimony grow so much throughout the day. At one point, we made a pretty routine contact on the road, handed out a book of mormon, and shared our testimonies. After the contact, our friend came up to me and told me that he felt the holy ghost (spirit/love of God) so much during our contact.  That got my thinking how much of a privilege it is to be a missionary. Also it was my sister's birthday this week and she turned 18! I actually don't believe it! Everyone wish Olivia a happy belated birthday!! Bom dia! Tudo bem everyone? I hope you all had an amazing week full of families, peanut butter, and AC. Only two more years. This week has been all but normal lol but I love it!  To keep things short: I got transferred from Parque do Sol (my old area), got a new companion, became senior companion, and became district leader. Lowkey have no clue what I'm doing; but hey, that's why I'm here right? SPIRITUAL THOUGHT This week, we had a mission conference with Elder Koch (member of the quorom of the 70) <-- Church Leadership. He talk us so much about being effective missionaries in every aspect, and really stressed the importance of being personally converted to Christ.  However, I actually want to share a little bit about what his wife taught us in her mini devotional.
