 Hello everyone! I've been a missionary for 4 days now and I absolutely love this work! I have never felt so much peace and joy! Today in our online MTC class, our teach extended an invitation to all of us to post our testimony, so here goes nothing!

 

 

Throughout my entire MTC experience, one phrase continues to come to my mind which comes from 2 Nephi 25: 20: "there is none other name given under heaven save it be this Jesus Christ, of which I have spoken, whereby man can be saved." Jesus Christ is the one and only way that we can fulfill God's plan and be saved! As we exercise faith in Him, follow His perfect example, and use His Atonement, we can feel a strong sense of purpose and happiness in this life. If anyone is struggling to feel the Light of Christ in their lives, or just wants to hear a message about Jesus Christ please reach out to me, I would love to talk!

 

 

Olá pessoal! Sou missionário há 4 dias e adoro esse trabalho! Nunca senti tanta paz e alegria! Hoje em nossa aula de MTC online, nossa professora fez um convite a todos nós para postarmos nosso testemunho, então aqui vai nada!

 

 

Ao longo de toda a minha experiência no CTM, uma frase continua a vir à minha mente que vem de 2 Néfi 25: 20: "nenhum outro nome há debaixo do céu, senão este Jesus Cristo, de que falei, pelo qual o homem pode ser salvo ." Jesus Cristo é a única maneira pela qual podemos cumprir o plano de Deus e sermos salvos! Ao exercermos fé Nele, seguirmos Seu exemplo perfeito e usarmos Sua Expiação, podemos sentir um forte senso de propósito e felicidade nesta vida. Se alguém está lutando para sentir a Luz de Cristo em suas vidas, ou apenas quer ouvir uma mensagem sobre Jesus Cristo, por favor, entre em contato comigo, eu adoraria conversar!

Okay yeah, so there really is opposition in all things. This week, Satan was working hard against our friends and even our members. Not gonna lie, I was losing a ton of faith. But in the end, we stomped on his face and baptized some of our friends! First things first, these Brazilians are convinced that rain brings all sorts of sicknesses and diseases, and they will never walk in the rain. So when it rained Sunday morning, like no one showed up to church. The attendence took a hit, and we had a family of investigators who turned around and walked home when it started raining. Please pray that the sun comes out next Sunday.  We had a couple of baptismal dates fall through this week, because of all sorts of things. One of our members told something to another family of investigators, and now the mom doesn't want to talk to us anymore. Getting On The Road Soon (Happy Easter)

What is up everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic week and a happy Easter! I literally love this holiday, and as a missionary, it's even better! It literally emcompasses everything that we teach as missionaries: the Good News. Quick thought Elder Holland talks about this "good news". He says, "The word gospel as we use it in English comes down to us through early scriptural language which meant literally “good news” or sometimes “glad tidings.” The “good news” was that death and hell could be escaped, that mistakes and sins could be overcome, that there was hope, that there was help, that the insoluble was solved, that the enemy had been conquered. The good news was that everyone’s tomb could one day be empty, that everyone’s soul could again be pure, that every child of God could again return to the Father who gave them life."
