This week was super fire, and I'm beyond grateful for all of the miracles that God is providing for His children here in our area! This week had so many special moments, so many ups and downs, and a couple of hilarious moments.  To start things off, my health is slowly declining again. My calves have been bright red and burnt for about a week now, and they still hurt to the touch. My toe is now infected, and doing everything to get this thing to heal. I woke up one morning, and my face was super swollen. For about two days, my nose and eye were about double the size. On Tuesday, we did super visited with our recently baptized friend, Micael. Fun fact about Micael is he is insanely smart and has read the Bible about a million times. We started teaching this man on the street about prophets and their impact today. When the man disagreed with one thing, Micael let loose on him and started "bible bashing" with him. If we didn't stop the contact, Micael would have oblitera...

Good afternoon everyone! This week we had transfers, so it's been kinda super hectic, and we lost two days of work. Nonetheless, God continues to bless our area, and now that we have eight Elders in the area, we are starting to see a ton of results! I'm now with Elder Nascimento again. He was my companion two transfers ago, and now we're back and more excited than ever to work together.  This week we moved houses. We were running six Elders in a smaller apartment, but now we have a "mansion". This place is insane! It has two floors, six rooms, and a giant kitchen. It also has a million problems including flooding, running out of water, cockroaches, a washing machine on the brink of eletricuting us, and a venomous scorpion that we found on our first day! We're always on our toes in this house.  Our English class is better than ever now with four Americans in the area, and we added in American chocolate chip cookies to grab people's attention. Good morning everyone! Carnival has officially gotten under way here in Brazil. So we gotta but the blinders on, stay away from crowds, choose our roads wisely, and focus up on the work. This week was fire, and I'm super excited to talk about it. But before I do, it's been a bit since I've given a legit spiritual thought.   This week while reading in the Book of Mormon, I came across this scripture in 2 Nephi 1: 26:  "And ye have murmured because he hath been plain unto you. Ye say that he hath used sharpness; ye say that he hath been angry with you; but behold, his sharpness was the sharpness of the power of the word of God, which was in him; and that which ye call anger was the truth, according to that which is in God, which he could not restrain, manifesting boldly concerning your iniquities."
