Three Near Death Experiences

What's up everyone! How's your week going? Wow, this transfer has been crazy so far! Let's just say having two americans together is super fun but super difficult. I've never been so mentally locked into to any like this in my life. I'm having to lead our plans, discussions, conversations, meetings and just about everything. Now I know the amount of stress that I put on my trainer lol.

- Mini Miracle: This week I've been getting way into my head. For example, Thursday morning we are suppose to set time aside to plan our week and month. Well, I got this feeling that we needed to visit a few people that morning and I made the decision to put off our planning to visit two people. And... they weren't home. I felt so dumb and also hungry because it was lunch time and we started walking to our lunch appointment. On the way to our lunch appointment we walk past this dude shoveling some dirt. In that moment, I had the strong feeling to talk to that dude, and for the next 30 seconds this feeling was battling with my feelings of hunger. But, I decided to act on the spirit, turn around, and chase down this man. We start talking and testifying and this man just starts crying. We gave him a Book of Mormon and he was so happy. (He doesn't even know how to read). We invited him to come to church and he did! Dressed in his white shirt and tie with Book of Mormon in hand! We then marked him for baptism and we was so happy!! God always prepares a plan for everything!

All of the following events happened on Saturday.

- Worst accident that I have ever seen: a member was takening us on the main road (closest thing we get to a highway) to our area. All of a sudden, we see this motorcycle zoom passed us. At the same time, these two little teenage girls were riding on the same bicycle, crossing the street. The motorcycle honks its horn and tries to turn away, turning right into the bike. I immediately looking away because I probably would have passed out, but my comp saw everything. One girl flew like twenty feet in the air but got right up. The other girl broke her leg and back and was basically wrapped around the bike. Prayers were said and prayers were answered. They are okay!

- Accident number 2: About five hours later, we were walking on the street and see a motorcycle on the ground right next to a puddle of blood. He was also okay, just half conscience on the side of the road.

- Almost got mauled by a horse: We were walking home through the woods Saturday night. I was on the phone confirming everyone for church on Sunday. I look up over my shoulder to my left and this horse is sprinting at me! It's about a foot from absolutely running me over when it's rope which was attracted to a tree whiplashes him and saves my life!

- Snake: we were walking home in the pitch black and we hear a snake and just start sprinting away. That was fun!

Have a great week! I'm still alive out here in Brazil! I love all of you guys!
