Musical Week -> Number 71
What's is going on everyone? I hope you are all having the best week! Pdays are moving like crazy, and now I'm back to pdays on Mondays! And you already know that means soccer! We work up early and hit up the indoor soccer fields today.
I'm going to keep this email short. This week was full of miracles and so much Christmas joy! We had the baptisms of Mikael and Analycie this week! They were super special! Analycie is part of a family that is preparing to get married and baptized. And Mikael was a member referral that overcame a ton of opposition and a change in mindset to get baptized. He truly used the Atonement of Jesus Christ to create a great change in his life!
Since I've arrived here in the office, if been using a keyboard piano in our apartment to learn piano. I'm still really bad, but I was able to play at Analycie's baptism! It was a so special moment for her, and I was insanely nervous.
Mikael is a senior in high-school, and we teach him everyday with his friends on campus. He also is a part of the music program at school, and this week was full of their recitals. Each student has to preform a mini concert to pass the course, and we were able to watch a trumpet concert, a singing concert, and a violin convert this week! It was super cool!
On Friday, we had a mid-transfer transfer that took my companion out of the office and opened up two more zones in the mission. Now I'm working on my own, and the staff won't be changing for a little bit.
My comp made rootbeer this week and we had rootbeer floats!
Last night, there was a multi-stake Christmas concert in our chapel! The spirit was super strong in the building, and the choir sang super well! It was super cool, because there were members for five of the wards that I have passed through there at the concert. I was able to talk to a ton of member friends that I've created along my mission! I'm am so grateful for all of the relationships that I've made on my mission.
Yesterday we had our first full day of work in over a month, and we were able to see so many miracles! God blessed our area, and we were able to meet so many people that God has been preparing for us! I was sweating like crazy, but I finally felt like a missionary again!
Well, I love you guys! I hope you guys have a fantastic week and holiday season!
