Going Back In Time

Good morning everyone! Carnival has officially gotten under way here in Brazil. So we gotta but the blinders on, stay away from crowds, choose our roads wisely, and focus up on the work. This week was fire, and I'm super excited to talk about it. But before I do, it's been a bit since I've given a legit spiritual thought.

This week while reading in the Book of Mormon, I came across this scripture in 2 Nephi 1: 26:

"And ye have murmured because he hath been plain unto you. Ye say that he hath used sharpness; ye say that he hath been angry with you; but behold, his sharpness was the sharpness of the power of the word of God, which was in him; and that which ye call anger was the truth, according to that which is in God, which he could not restrain, manifesting boldly concerning your iniquities."

This scripture hit me like a train. I need to be more bold. I need to use more sharpness in my teaching. Everything single little thing that we teach is true and is enable people to have eternal life. I can't be afraid to be bold and literally share God's truths with other. This boldness will either catch the attention of the elect, or penitrate the hearts of the wicked and cause them to get angry. This week I really tried to put this scripture into practice, and I was able to see many miracles and participate in many powerful lessons.

This week we had Zone Conference, and it was one of the best ones yet. There were about 120 missionaries present, and the spirit was super strong. I also had the priveldge of hearing the final testimony of one of the companions from over a year ago. One thing they said that I really liked was, "The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the only tool to eternal progression that we have." It's so true!

On Saturday, I had the opportunity to go back to my old area on an exchange with my MTC companion, Elder Barela! It was one of my favorite days on my mission! We worked super hard, testified of Christ, His Atonement, and His church, and visited a ton of people that have played a giant part of my mission. We even got to do visits with Tatiana (someone that I baptized with Elder Bradford). Elder Barela is a super diligent, spiritual, and hard-working missionary, and I learned so much from him.

We're keeping this one short and sweet, but I love you all and hope that you have the best week! I praying for all of you!
