Here We Go Again -> Week 80
What is up everyone! I hope you all had a great week! Not gonna lie, this week was pretty difficult. But through all of the adversity and obstacles, God pulled through (like He always does) and we were able to see so many blessings!
Okay so first off, the two problems are back and better than ever. And by better than ever, I mean that I went to the hospital, and they completely jacked up my toes. My toe was getting pretty back, and it was starting to get infected, so what they decided to do was to lift up the toe nail, scrapping it off of the skin, and shoving cotton all of the way down to the bottom of the toe. It was one of the most painful experiences ever. Then they finish, or so I think. I look down at my toe and realize that they totally cut and shoved cotton on the wrong side of the toe. So, they had to do the whole procedure again, and now I'm on like a crazy high dose of ibruprophen.
One of my favorite moment this week was teaching and marking our friend, Rafael, for baptism! Long story short, Rafael is 25 and lives with his parents. He has been despressed, closed off, and hadn't had a normal conversation with anyone for nine years. It all started with a simple invitation to english class, and he is opening up so much! He mom has been so happy, and she was crying seeing her old, social, and intelligent son coming back! God has produced a miracle in Rafael! Please pray for him so that his baptism can happen this Saturday!
I had an exchange with Elder Sorensen this week! He's a beast, and we worked our tails off! He taught me the american way, and we knocked on a whole lot of doors and found a whole lot of people.
On Saturday night, we held our weekly english class, and at the same time, they were holding Institute (classes for young single adults) in our same chapel. After english class, I got to see so many of my old friends from other wards, all of the way back to my very first area! There were some that I got to help baptize, others that I got to interview, and other members that have helped us so much in the work! It make me so happy every time that I see an old friend!
Yesterday, we saw so many miracles at church! Many friends that we met this week decided to come to church, and it was such a blessing! We also decided to created a family night calendar and invite all of the members to host family nights with us and friends, and the members literally filled out the entire calendar! God is real and this is the best ward ever!
We also ate KFC this week and it was super good!
But that's about it for this week! I am so thankful and happy to be a missionary! I know that God lives and this is His work! I love all of you and hope that you guys have the best week!
